Compared to conventional stabilization, the application of UNDERBOLD-POD30 does not require any special or additional equipment or facilities.
The optimum mixing ratio of the additive with the cement and the mineral mixture (soil or rock) is determined via the soil properties to be tested and adjusted to the specifications of the client.
Sampling and control tests to prove the optimal quality success are oriented to the appli-cation and the specifications of the builder.
UNDERBOLD POD30 has convincingly demonstrated its properties in use in many countries.
PREPARATION
Leveling of the surface, removal of the organic top layer, preliminary profiling.
Soil samples are taken to determine the soil weight and soil moisture, as well as the com-position of the soil. With these data, the exact UNDERBOLD-POD30 mixing and quantity ratio is determined. Only in the case of organically overgrown soils, the top layer is re-moved by approx. 5-15 cm in order to eliminate all organic matter, such as roots. A maxi-mum of 3% organic matter for the subsoil may be included. If roads are renewed or a new road is created on dirt roads, no such preparation is necessary.
PROCESSING
Mixing in the emulsion UNDERBOLD-POD30. Crushing and mixing of the soil with the emulsion UNDERBOLD-POD30 and water into preliminary profiling.
The wax emulsion is evenly mixed into the natural soil with a tiller. Professional incorpo-ration creates a uniform homogeneous mixture of UNDERBOLD-POD30 and the natural substances of the soil.
